Don’t Lose Sight of the Big Picture

Amid the constantly churning news cycles and endless information barrage, it can be hard to keep your eyes on the ball of what truly matters for your DC plan. For example, it might be hard to remember that a groundbreaking legislation, the SECURE Act, was passed just under a year ago, or that the CARES Act, with all of its implications for DC plan sponsors, has a even shorter life span. Big changes are also coming to the industry with regards to the DOL’s rules on alternative investments, and more already industry insiders and gearing up in anticipation for the next big retirement legislation.

While part of the reason for picking Washington D.C. as the location of this year’s summit was because of all the regulatory and legislative movements in the industry, we certainly won’t be singularly focused on just those topics. Anything big picture and macro is fair game for this year’s summit as we grapple with a changed world and industry on our hands. So please join us to virtually witness some bold predictions for 2021, for defined contribution, for the retirement space, and yes, for the presidential election in two weeks’ time. We hope to see you!
